We get it — you want to be sure your meals arrive fresh, safe, and ready to enjoy. Below are the most common questions we get about delivery and food safety — all answered clearly.
🧊 What if my ice packs are melted when the box arrives?
Don’t worry — that’s normal. Our natural Woolpack insulation is designed to hold cold air inside the box, even after the ice packs thaw. As long as the meals are still cold to the touch, they are safe to refreeze.
❄️ My meals aren’t frozen when they arrive — are they still safe?
Yes — absolutely. Your meals are safe to refreeze as long as they arrive within 48 hours of shipping and are still chilled (below 5°C). This is fully within New Zealand food safety standards.

If that happens, contact us right away. We’ll assess the situation and make it right — whether that means a replacement or refund. If your meals arrive outside the safe window, we’ll take care of you.
